There's something I know about every one of you reading this. You're hungry. You may not even know it, but you're hungry. Spiritually hungry.
And the perfect meal that will satisfy every craving that you have is found in God.
You may try to convince yourself that he doesn't exist. You might try to convince yourself that if he does, that he is angry at you or doesn't want to be bothered with you… But the hunger remains and the craving continues to draw you toward him…
He has prepared a life that meets every need that you have deep within your soul.
You know it. He knows it.
Some "restaurants" have served you a version of him in the past that didn't sit right and because of that, you've tried to sell yourself the idea that you didn't like him… but the reality is he's everything you've ever wanted and the last "chef" just distracted you by his style of presentation…
You're still starving… Starving for more of God.
He has a table prepared just for you. He's everything you've wanted deep inside your heart but tried to convince yourself he wasn't.
Come in. Sit down. Close your eyes. Relax. You're finally home where you belong. Your Father – your God – wants to feed you with his presence. When you're with him, every need you ever had will be met.
Get ready for your spiritual stomach to stop grumbling. Just tell God what you want – what you need – and it will already be on its way to your table.
